Spelt Bread II

This is a very good bread that’s very easy to make. I also make spelt muffins and spelt brownies which are really good also. Spelt has a nice nutty flavor and is available in most natural foods stores.

Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select cycle; press Start.

The quality of the flour can make a real deal to your bread. Different brands do vary. Great taste or Canadian flours, which are bet higher in gluten, may give you a best rise than standard dough flours – especially if you’re make wholemeal dough , which doesn’t always getting bigger as well as clear bread.

To make this in a breadmaker , add all the menus to your breadmaker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

A dough’s first rising can be done in the fridge overnight . This slows down the time it takes to rise to double its size, giving it a deeper flavour. It’s also a great timesaver , as you can work it yesterday , then finish it off the next day.
