Sourdough Drop Biscuits

You may choose which sourdough starter to use.

Step: 1

Sift flour, salt, and soda together into a large bowl. Mix starter with oil, and stir into the sifted ingredients. Drop dough by tablespoons onto an ungreased baking sheet.

Step: 2

Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve warm.

The quality of the flour could make a real deal to your bread. Different makers do vary. A dough’s first rising can be make in the fridge overnight . This slows down the time it takes to rise to double its size, giving it a deeper flavour. It’s also a great timesaver , as you can work it night before , then clear it off the next day.
