Mothers Pecan Pancake Muffins

Quick and easy, kid-friendly, syrup-free pancakes.

Step: 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Step: 2

Combine flour, white sugar, pecans, brown sugar, egg, and oil in a bowl. Mix batter thoroughly. Fill each cup of a muffin tin 2/3-full with batter.

Step: 3

Bake in the preheated oven until tops spring back when lightly pressed, 8 to 12 minutes.

The best flavour of the flour could make a real difference to your bread. Different brands do vary. Extra-strong or Canadian flours, which are bet higher in gluten, may give you a best rise than standard bread flours – especially if you’re make wholemeal dough , which doesn’t always getting bigger as well as white bread.

To make this in a breadmaker , add all the menus to your breadmaker and follow the makers instructions.

A bread first rising can be done in the fridge overnight . This slows down the time it takes to rise to double its size, giving it a deeper flavour. It’s also a great limit , as you can work it yesterday , then finish it off the next day.
