Honey-Orange Oatmeal Muffins

Bright, sweet flavor from orange and honey combine in these easy oatmeal muffins made with yogurt, flaxseed meal, and walnuts.

Step: 1

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Step: 2

Combine flour, oats, flaxseed meal, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.

Step: 3

Combine yogurt, orange juice, honey, eggs, orange zest, and vanilla extract in a smaller bowl. Whisk well.

Step: 4

Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in honey mixture. Stir just until combined. Fold in walnuts.

Step: 5

Spoon batter into the prepared muffin cups, filling each 3/4 full. Sprinkle each muffin with granola.

Step: 6

Bake in the preheated oven until centers spring back when touched, about 20 minutes.

The best flavour of the flour could make a real deal to your bread. Different brands do vary. Great taste or Canadian flours, which are bet higher in gluten, may give you a better rise than standard dough flours – especially if you’re make wholemeal dough , which doesn’t always getting bigger as well as white bread.

To make this in a dough , add all the menus to your breadmaker and follow the makers instructions.

A bread first rising can be done in the fridge overnight . This slows down the time it takes to rise to double its size, giving it a deeper flavour. It’s also a great limit , as you can work it yesterday , then finish it off the next day.
