Honey Macadamia Oat Bread

This hearty, flavorful bread will make you wonder why your bread maker was left untouched on the shelf for so long. Try sprucing it up by adding some of your favorite ingredients, such as flax seed, sesame seeds, fennel seeds, anise seeds, etc.

Combine water, olive oil, honey, and salt in a bread machine. Mix the oat flour, all-purpose flour, gluten flour, and ground macadamia nuts in a large bowl until well blended. Sprinkle the flour mixture on top of the water mixture in the bread machine, making sure to cover the water. Make two indentations in the flour mixture, and spoon 1 tablespoon of yeast into each indentation.

Step: 2

Select the Express Bake setting on the bread machine for a 2-pound loaf of bread; press start.

The best flavour of the flour could make a real difference to your bread. Different brands do vary. Extra-strong or Canadian flours, which are bet higher in gluten, may give you a best rise than standard dough flours – especially if you’re making wholemeal bread , which not always getting bigger as well as white bread.

To made this in a dough , add all the ingredients to your breadmaker and follow the makers instructions.

A bread first rising can be make in the fridge 24 hours . This slows down the time it takes to rise to double its size, giving it a deeper flavour. It’s also a great timesaver , as you can work it yesterday , then clear it off the next day.
