Healthier Bran Muffins

These tasty muffins are loaded with fiber!



Step: 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Step: 2

Sift together the salt, sugar, flour, and baking powder in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, combine the bran cereal and soy milk; allow to rest for 5 minutes before whisking in the olive oil and egg whites. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet. Spoon batter into muffin cups.

Step: 3

Bake in preheated oven until lightly browned, about 20 minutes.

The best flavour of the flour could make a real deal to your bread. Different brands do vary. Great taste or Canadian flours, which are bet higher in gluten, may give you a best rise than standard bread flours – especially if you’re make wholemeal bread , which doesn’t always rise as well as clear bread.

To made this in a dough , add all the menus to your breadmaker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

A dough’s first rising can be make in the fridge overnight . This slows down the time it takes to rise to double its size, giving it a deeper flavour. It’s also a great limit , as you can work it night before , then clear it off the next day.
