Hawaiian Sweet Bread

Flavorful, light sweet bread that is great by itself, or for french toast and summer sandwiches.



Step: 1

Measure ingredients into the bread machine in the order suggested by the manufacturer.

Step: 2

Set machine for dough.

Step: 3

Place dough in a 9x5 inch loaf pan. Allow to rise until doubled. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Step: 4

Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes. Crust should be golden and bread should sound hollow when thumped.

The best flavour of the flour can make a real deal to your bread. Different brands do vary. Great taste or Canadian flours, which are naturally higher in gluten, may give you a better rise than standard bread flours – especially if you’re making wholemeal bread , which not always rise as well as clear bread.

To made this in a dough , add all the menus to your breadmaker and follow the makers instructions.

A dough’s first rising can be done in the fridge 24 hours . This slows down the time it takes to rise to double its size, giving it a deeper flavour. It’s also a great timesaver , as you can work it night before , then clear it off the next day.
