Graham Cracker Muffins

This is the best recipe. I discovered it when I was preparing dinner for a sick friend.

Step: 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease 10 muffin cups or line with paper muffin liners.

Step: 2

In a large bowl, combine cracker crumbs, sugar and baking powder. Stir in milk, egg and honey; mixing just until moistened. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups.

Step: 3

Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. Let stand for 5 minutes, then move to a wire rack to cool completely.

The best flavour of the flour can make a real deal to your bread. Different makers do vary. Great taste or Canadian flours, which are bet higher in gluten, may give you a best rise than standard dough flours – especially if you’re making wholemeal dough , which doesn’t always rise as well as clear bread.

To made this in a dough , add all the ingredients to your breadmaker and follow the makers instructions.

A bread first rising can be done in the fridge 24 hours . This slows down the time it takes to rise to double its size, giving it a deeper flavour. It’s also a great timesaver , as you can work it yesterday , then finish it off the next day.
