Garlic Cheese Biscuits

Light, tasty biscuits - just as good as the ones served at a popular seafood restaurant chain.

Step: 1

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).

Step: 2

Combine baking mix, milk and cheddar cheese in mixing bowl. Beat with wooden spoon till soft dough forms.

Step: 3

Drop dough by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes until golden brown.

Step: 4

Mix butter and garlic powder and brush over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet.

The best flavour of the flour could make a real deal to your bread. Different brands do vary. Extra-strong or Canadian flours, which are naturally higher in gluten, may give you a best rise than standard bread flours – especially if you’re make wholemeal bread , which doesn’t always getting bigger as well as white bread.

To make this in a dough , add all the ingredients to your breadmaker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

A bread first rising can be done in the fridge 24 hours . This slows down the time it takes to rise to double its size, giving it a deeper flavour. It’s also a great timesaver , as you can start it yesterday , then clear it off the next day.
