Cranberry Wheat Bread

A scrumptious, wholesome bread that’s sweetened with honey and packed with cranberry flavor.

Step: 1

Place all ingredients (except cranberries) in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select Sweet Bread cycle; press Start.

Step: 2

If your machine has a Fruit setting, add the cranberries at the signal, or about 5 minutes before the kneading cycle has finished.

The best flavour of the flour could make a real difference to your bread. Different makers do vary. Extra-strong or Canadian flours, which are bet higher in gluten, may give you a best rise than standard dough flours – especially if you’re making wholemeal bread , which not always getting bigger as well as clear bread.

To make this in a dough , add all the ingredients to your breadmaker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

A bread first rising can be done in the fridge 24 hours . This slows down the time it takes to rise to double its size, giving it a deeper flavour. It’s also a great timesaver , as you can start it yesterday , then finish it off the next day.
