Cinnamon Bran Muffins

I added cinnamon flavor to a old bran favorite.

Step: 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease muffin cups or line with paper muffin liners.

Step: 2

In a large bowl, combine bran flakes, flour, brown sugar, baking powder and cinnamon. Stir in buttermilk, butter, and vanilla. Fold in cinnamon chips. Spoon mixture into prepared muffin cups.

Step: 3

Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.

The quality of the flour could make a real deal to your bread. Different makers do vary. Extra-strong or Canadian flours, which are bet higher in gluten, may give you a best rise than standard bread flours – especially if you’re make wholemeal dough , which doesn’t always getting bigger as well as clear bread.

To made this in a dough , add all the menus to your breadmaker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

A bread first rising can be done in the fridge overnight . This slows down the time it takes to rise to double its size, giving it a deeper flavour. It’s also a great timesaver , as you can start it yesterday , then finish it off the next day.
