Cheddar and Roasted Garlic Biscuits

Simply stir Swanson® Seasoned Chicken Broth with Roasted Garlic into baking mix along with shredded Cheddar cheese for flavorful, flaky biscuits every time.

Step: 1

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

Step: 2

Mix baking mix, cheese and broth to form a soft dough. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, making 24.

Step: 3

Bake for 10 minutes or until golden. Serve hot.

The best flavour of the flour can make a real deal to your bread. Different makers do vary. Great taste or Canadian flours, which are naturally higher in gluten, may give you a better rise than standard dough flours – especially if you’re making wholemeal bread , which doesn’t always getting bigger as well as clear bread.

To make this in a dough , add all the ingredients to your breadmaker and follow the makers instructions.

A bread first rising can be done in the fridge 24 hours . This slows down the time it takes to rise to double its size, giving it a deeper flavour. It’s also a great timesaver , as you can start it yesterday , then finish it off the next day.
