Apple Fritter Bread

A light variation of pound cake with the addition of apples.

INGRIDIENT

Step: 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease 2 fluted tube pans (such as Bundt®) with cooking spray.

Step: 2

Beat sugar and butter together in a stand mixer until light and fluffy; mix in eggs and vanilla extract until just incorporated. Scrape down bowl with a rubber spatula. Mix in flour and baking soda until just incorporated. Add milk while mixer is running, beating until batter is smooth.

Step: 3

Fold apple pie filling into the batter by hand. Divide between the prepared pans.

Step: 4

Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 45 minutes.

The quality of the flour can make a real deal to your bread. Different makers do vary. Great taste or Canadian flours, which are bet higher in gluten, may give you a better rise than standard dough flours – especially if you’re make wholemeal bread , which not always rise as well as clear bread.

To make this in a dough , add all the ingredients to your breadmaker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

A bread first rising can be make in the fridge overnight . This slows down the time it takes to rise to double its size, giving it a deeper flavour. It’s also a great timesaver , as you can work it yesterday , then finish it off the next day.
