Rules - Schmules! A 40 year master baker reveals a bread secret that will change bread machine baking forever! After 3 years and 500 loaves, my kids say plain white and cinnamon are the best. What do you think?

Ignore the bread machine directions. Place warm water and lard into the bread machine pan. Sprinkle in the yeast. Pour in flour and salt. Toss in cinnamon if desired. Select cycle; press Start.

The best flavour of the flour could make a real deal to your bread. Different brands do vary. Great taste or Canadian flours, which are bet higher in gluten, may give you a best rise than standard dough flours – especially if you’re make wholemeal bread , which not always getting bigger as well as white bread.

To made this in a dough , add all the menus to your breadmaker and follow the makers instructions.

A dough’s first rising can be done in the fridge overnight . This slows down the time it takes to rise to double its size, giving it a deeper flavour. It’s also a great limit , as you can work it yesterday , then finish it off the next day.
