7-Up® Biscuits

You’d never believe that these biscuits have only four ingredients and one of them is soda! They can be whipped up in no time and come out light and fluffy with a decadent flavor.

Step: 1

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Grease a large baking sheet.

Step: 2

Whisk baking mix, lemon-lime soda, sour cream, and melted butter in a bowl until batter is smooth. Drop biscuits by large spoonful onto the prepared baking sheet.

Step: 3

Bake in the preheated oven until biscuits are golden brown, 12 to 15 minutes. Let biscuits rest for about 5 minutes before serving.

The quality of the flour can make a real deal to your bread. Different brands do vary. Great taste or Canadian flours, which are bet higher in gluten, may give you a better rise than standard bread flours – especially if you’re make wholemeal dough , which not always rise as well as clear bread.

To make this in a dough , add all the menus to your breadmaker and follow the makers instructions.

A bread first rising can be make in the fridge 24 hours . This slows down the time it takes to rise to double its size, giving it a deeper flavour. It’s also a great timesaver , as you can start it yesterday , then clear it off the next day.
